FL Bedroom Update!
Hello from the sunshine state! We’ve been busy working to get our beach home put together since our move in date in January! We have most of the major pieces and are just awaiting some accessories. Soon, we will be able to schedule a photo shoot and will have all kinds of content to share here! Today, we’re sharing our *almost* completed bedroom! I’m waiting on the perfect piece of art for above our bed and a glider for the corner (for those middle of the night newborn feedings!). Other than that, this room is done! We just unrolled the most perfect rug, which gave this room the character and coziness that it was lacking.
You may remember this blog post about our living room in Michigan. We refreshed the room with new artwork and a new rug. We fell SO in love with our Revival rug (the Solaba) in that room; we knew we had to have one in the beach house!
I designed our bedroom to feel very calm, a space to unwind and take a deep breath. Muted colors, pale oak, and natural textures make the space feel serene, like a quiet beach day.

You know I have to comment on how incredibly soft this rug is! Having a lush rug in the space has made us want to spend more time in this room. With a newborn and toddler, there is a lot of play that occurs on the floor. Our bedroom has become like a second living space, especially as it is connected to our favorite porch with the swinging daybed and bistro set.
I cannot recommend these rugs enough! Pretty, soft, and WASHABLE, too. It’s an unstoppable combo, if you ask me!
